Trump posts jaw-dropping AI video of his 'Gaza Riviera' featuring Netanyahu and belly dancers

US President Donald Trump has sparked a backlash by sharing a bizarre AI-generated video of his vision to turn the Gaza Strip into the “Riviera of the Middle East”.

The video contains 30 seconds of weird visuals where rubble makes way for skyscrapers and people walk around with golden Trump balloons.
Backed by many Western powers, Israel has reduced most of the Gaza Strip to rubble during a 15-month military campaign that has killed over 48,000 Palestinians.

The 78-year-old US president recently - who campaigned under an ‘America First’ motto - has instead waded into a number of tense overseas situations.
After meeting with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the White House earlier in February, Trump announced a plan for for America to “take over” the Gaza Strip and turn it into the “Riviera of the Middle East”, displacing Palestinians who call it home.

Forcibly removing Palestinians from their land is illegal under international law, but Trump has since doubled down on his idea to clear the territory and turn it into some sort of modern beach resort.
