Simple Custom Leather Belt Follow Along W/Upgrade Options

In this video I will show you how to make a two layer leather belt. While this one has a custom design down the center of it you could skip that part and make the belt build much easier. I have named this two layer custom belt “The Western”. You can really change the look of the leather belt with color and other design features. If you really wanted to make the custom leather belt simple you can skip all of the hand sewing altogether. The contact adhesive really will keep the two layer custom leather belt assembled without the hand sewing. I used Fiebing’s ProDye to dye the two layer belt. I also used the Fiebing’s Resolene as the finish. I hope you gain the confidence to make your own two layer leather belt. In the end I remade the belt for the winner as it came out a little darker then what I think they were looking for.
