Daimler EPS is an electro-pneumatic shifting system, applied in commercial vehicles. The gearbox actuator (EPS3) is used for the operation of max. 16-speed commercial vehicle gearboxes. Its task is performing the gear shift operations fast, in a manner adapted to the individual driving situation.
