கூடலிழைத்து அதில் ஆசை நிறைவேறாததால், முன் தானும் எம்பெருமானும் கூடியிருந்த காலத்திலே உடன் இருந்த குயிலைப் பார்த்து, நம் வார்த்தைக்கு
மறு வார்த்தை சொல்லக்கூடியது, ஞானம் உள்ள பறவை என்றெண்ணி, இது நம்மை எம்பெருமானுடன் சேர்த்துவிடும் என்று நினைத்து, அந்தக் குயிலின் காலில்
விழுந்து “என்னையும் எம்பெருமானையும் சேர்த்துவிடு” என்று ப்ரார்த்திக்கிறாள். இவள் பேசினால் அதுவும் பதில் சொல்லும் என்பதையே காரணமாகக் கொண்டு,
அதனிடத்தில் ப்ரார்த்திக்கிறாள். ராவணனையே பார்த்து “என்னைப் பெருமாளிடம் சேர்த்து விடு” என்று சொல்லக்கூடிய ஸீதாப்பிராட்டியைப் போன்றவளான
ஆண்டாள், குயிலைப் பார்த்தால் விடமாட்டாளே. ஆகையால், இங்கே குயிலிடம் தன்னை எம்பெருமானிடம் சேர்க்கும்படி ப்ரார்த்திக்கிறாள்.

Since she did not unite with emperumAn even after engaging in kUdal, she looks at the cuckoo bird which was there with her earlier
when she was united with emperumAn. Realising that the bird was knowledgeable and could reply to her words, she falls at the feet
of the cuckoo bird, praying to it “Unite me with him”. Considering its ability to reply to her words , she prays to it. Since ANdAL
is like sIthAp pirAtti who could tell rAvaNa himself “Unite me with perumAL”, she will not let go of the cuckoo. Here, she is
praying it to unite her with emperumAn.
