Hover Air Pro Max Needs to Ski Fast or Go Home

I skiied the last couple of the runs with the Beacon on my lapel and really have to question wether it even works. Right now it is designed to manually take control of Little Bird but it's so small and unreliable I have no confidence in it. The Beacon system comes with a couple of joystick adapters that can be added. I tried using the A unit at home and the drone crashed full speed into my white double garage door....she survived great but the LED lights no longer work and I'm waiting to hear back from Zero Zero but they must be swamped. At least the latest Beacon software has a second mode to leave Little Bird in Hover mode if it loses communication. Prior to this the drone would return to it's original point of origin. Scary if you are a skier and see it fly back up the hill. The latest software is supposed to be skier optimized!
