RBI MPC cuts repo rate by 25 bps to 6%

RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra in the Monetary Policy speech on Tuesday said, "growth projections have been revised downwards by 20bps due to policy, trade uncertainties."

The RBI MPC has voted unanimously for repo rate to be reduced by 25 bps to 6%, effective immediately.
