How Your Donations Help | Pawprints to Freedom dog rescue

After the announcement about the import ban being extended until the 9th July, we're fearing the worst. We can't imagine the impact this is going to have for our dogs in Romania, the ones we are desperate to catch and help, and also for all the rescuers we work with.

We have worked so hard to help as many dogs as we possibly could. Last year we adopted out 786 dogs, spayed and neutered over 1000 animals, opened our own UK kennels, turned a kill shelter in Romania into an adoption center and gained charity status.

But we couldn't have done any of this without your support!

You also made it possible for us to help injured dogs when they needed treatment. Because of your help dogs like Elena, Bonnie, Artie, Monk and Freeway are now either in Romania ready to travel (once the import ban is lifted) or already living their best lives in their forever homes.

But donations are crucial.

We are extremely worried about the effect the import ban will have on our rescue. Will we be able to catch 40 dogs per month to keep our shelter in Romania? Will we afford to buy food for our dogs? What will happen to our rescuers?

Times are hard and we really need your support.
If rescues don’t survive, thousands of lives will perish in unimaginable cruelty.

Funds raised will go towards ensuring our public shelter survives, then we will use anything else to help our rescuers get through this.
