Welcome! This video demonstrates my oat shirataki noodles recipe using glucomannan powder. I really love these noodles because they have a fantastic taste and texture, almost like eating real pasta.
Oat Shirataki Noodles Recipe
1 cup cool water
2 Tablespoons Oat Fiber (not oat flour)
2 Tablespoons glucomannan powder
1/4 teaspoon pickling lime
Pour water into a bowl. Whisk oat fiber into water and let sit for a few minutes.
Mix glucomannan and pickling lime. Add to bowl and whisk vigorously to avoid lumps. Whisk about 30 second. Do not whisk too much or the gel will get too thick.
Put into pasta press or potato ricer and squirt shirataki noodles into simmering water. Let simmer/boil 5 minutes.
Remove from boiling water and rinse with cold water.
No need to dry fry these shirataki noodles.
Top with desired seasonings, sauces, etc. Enjoy!
