Basic plot: Mildred and Nick were together, but he cheated on her with Ethel. Her friends always tried to warn her about him, but she never listened. Mildred misses and constantly thinks about the days when she was with Nick and wishes things could still be the same, despite what he did. In the end, Nick follows Mildred down a corridor, feeling guilty for what he did.
