Can You Swim In Los Cabos, Mexico? | 2021

You've probably heard lots of people tell you that it's not safe to swim in Los Cabos, Mexico, but why is it unsafe and is it really that scary or are people just exaggerating?

On our last trip to Cabo, we caught some great footage of the huge waves that can happen. This was filmed at the Sandos Finisterra resort in Cabo San Lucas, where they have a massive beach area but the waves were washing up to some nearby resorts and they actually closed the beach at one point because of the dangerous waves. With a super strong undertow and dangerous rip tides, all you have to do is watch the waves roll 50' onto the beach and see the waves pummel the nearby rock faces to know the sea is not to be trifled with here!

Stay safe, keep your distance when waves are strong, and listen to the lifeguard!
