Our Best Free Camp Yet! Crossing the Nullarbor $0 for accommodation, Madura Caves and Bunda Cliffs.

This week we make our way from Esperance and start heading east across the Nullarbor.

Our first stop was Newman's Rocks. This is a great little free camp set up on a hill amongst the trees over looking the highway. We were treated to a beautiful sunset before we turned in for the night.

The next day we made our way to Madura and camped at another free camp at Madura Pass. This campsite is located up on a ridge overlooking the plain. We were spoilt with another beautiful sunset through the trees with a spectacular view of the plain.

The next day we visited the nearby Madura Caves. These are some awesome little caves, make sure you bring your torch as it can be very dark inside.

We then made our way on to the SA/WA border and stopped in at Bunda Cliffs for the night. This would have to be one of the best free camps we have stayed at yet. We were fortunate to have great weather with very little wind, but the views blew us away. We could not recommend this camp ore highly.

Our last stop was at Fowlers Bay where we visited the massive sand dune system very close to town. We weren't as fortunate with the weather when we got there and were almost blown back to Esperance.

We did not realise that there was so much to see on the Nullarbor and would recommend that you take your time when crossing. You will miss some spectacular sights if you rush it. There was so much that we still didn't see and we will have to try and pick up next time round.
