I'm back after a year. Tomorrow I'll post a video how to make a snowflake from "cheese" paper, so subscribe not to miss a nicely designed and carefully made decoration for beautiful winter holidays and today I am sharing a technique - using ORANGE PEEL in one of Christmas decorations which I created following my heart and eco-friendly approach in designing home coziness.
In the video you can see the detailed process of drawing a scheme, the height and wideness of a step between the base points of your triangles depend on the size of an orange you use, and you make different numbers of "petals" following you personal vision.
The process of cutting and peeling is also well seen in the film. After you peel an orange it's necessary to leave the "stars" to dry, you can put some weight on the top, say a small glass jar from jam, to fix the more flat position of a "star".
In the end I am using a pre-prepared dry orange peel snowflake, unfortunately one of the tips cracked and then we lost it 😳but I didn't have any other dry pre-prepared orange peel detail at the right moment of filming this material in april, my dear )) because it was not possible to film with good natural light during winter and early spring for the crucial lack of the sun in my location.
I AM DOING WHAT I CAN with WHAT I have WHERE I AM. ❤️🧡
And finally I am setting the orange peel detail of the snowflake with the paper part of the snowflake, which I'll post tomorrow. Thank you for watching, and you know what to do to inspire the author 🤩
If you have any questions, please, write in the comments, I read them all ( I actually have only one 😆 currently), also share you personal ideas and thoughts on this design, see you soon , stay safe ❤️
