The first "Profile of the Week" is kalle.

Hey Kalle, to begin with you could tell us about who you are. Name, age, Country, Family etc.
My name is Daniel Moström, i am 18 years old and live in Sweden. Mose, the mapmaker, is my brother actually.

How did you get introduced into the world of "kz maps"?
It was a year ago when i was having a LAN with friends. We had our LAN in my place and suddenly the internet went down so we had nothing to do, and it was in the middle of the night. My friend said that he had a fun-map we could play and is was kz_ep_gigablock_b01, so thats how it all started.

You are known as one of the best pro-climbers out there. Are you in a climbing clan or anything?
Nope, i have no climbing clan but i probably will get one if it gets more poular with jumping teams. But i have thought of making a swedish jumping team and if i do i hope jocke will join us (me and mose) and maybe find a few more good swedish jumpers.

As for all pro-gamers, to get good and stay good, it requires a lot of time. Do you play as much as you can, or do you have it as a hobby?
I used to jump very much, up to a several hours a day but now i have it more like a hobby.
Helferlein asked me if i whould make some more records after gigablock and i promised him more demos so its been a little more jumping this week, actually i've already broke 1 record but i'll make some more demos before i send them in.

Have you ever played in a climbing-tourney?
Nope, i haven't but sometimes i make fun of a friend calld "Moren" because he always lose in those jump-cups

Are there any of the maps you have problems with finishing or being able to finish at all?
Oh, actually there's a lot of maps i haven't finished but i am sure i would if i'd give it a try. Maybe i've been too busy with my gigablock record so i haven't got any time for other maps.

So which of the maps that you've played have you found most difficult?
Tropiclimb for sure.

How do you react if you are very close to the end and you fall down on either 1) A jump that's very easy or 2) A wallbug? Any destroyed computer equipment?
Haha, my patience is probably one of the best in the world so i have no problem with falling down on last jump, even if it is a easy jump or a wallbug. Every jumps get hard when you are jumping at maximum speed. I got a bit irritated once when i fell on last step at gigablock on a time that would been under 07.00, no broken equipment but i couldn't sleep that night, i was so angry at myself.

From your point of view, who is the best climber?

Do you think there is too little activity in the climbing-community? Do you think there should be more tourneys with money prizes?
I know there's a large interest in jumping so with a good homepage where you can add jumping-clans and participate in jump-cups with ladders and prizes the activity would grow a lot.
