Guilty Gear Strive - Millia Rage Arcade Mode (Hard/Extreme Playthrough)

There it is, the new #GuiltyGearStrive, and my gameplay with my favorite character, #MilliaRage.

I'll be honest, while the game is gorgeous and fun to play it is lacking some important features. First of all no Insta-Kills, that's heartbreaking, it's a series staple like Mortal Kombat Fatalities and not having them feels disappointing.

The game feels like a sequel otherwise, its gameplay is unique, more so that Xrd from X2, the music is great, the #ArcadeMode is coming with some issues though. You can't select the difficulty, it's automatic based on how well you play and trust me the CPU is not beginner friendly it will hurt any newcomer getting into it. You can't select round count or the time, these are also drawbacks. Oh, and a series about art and no ending illustrations? of.

Gameplay system wise, I like the new changes, but don't like characters don't have easy ways to lunch the opponent for juggling, I struggled so much with Millia to get my opponent airborne for some fancy air combos, I couldn't even do it once in this playthrough.

Characters need more combo options for aerial combat as that was part of Guilty Gear too along with Insta Kills and better difficulty settings for Arcade Mode. Maybe some fancy new moves as well. Character specific trials too! then it could jump from a good game to a great one, however not having these features at lunch definitely hurt the game I can see it not performing well. It's not enough to alter the system to make it more approachable, you must have the swag and the newb friendly stuff too.

The Story Mode is also a big movie, might as well just upload it on YouTube if there are no fights in it, ideally make it more like the first BlazBlue, that game had a perfect story mode, this is advice for future games from ARCSYS. Thank you for the conclusion of GG, now you can make a BlazBlue Tag and add Guilty Gear characters too. Melty Blood and Fate as well as Naruto and Dragon Ball. Ultimate anime fighter, hehe.
