Our 2007 RangeRover Sport TDV6 HSE stands tall and dwarfs other road users. This car glides along with limo-like ride quality, yet it also has Rangerovers superb terrain response system which allows you to adjust the cars ride height and 4 wheel drive system to best suit the terrain. This model comes with Landrovers super terrain response system, kill descent control and low range gearing. This makes the Range Rover Sport hugely capable on any terrain. Power comes courtesy of the 188bhp TDV6 turbo-diesel powerplant which also features in many Jaguar models via a 6 speed automatic gearbox which is slick as responsive.

The Sport is a little smaller than a Vogue, but there is still no denying that this is a big car - Not only does it look large and imposing, it feels large and imposing when you are behind the wheel. You sit high with a commanding view of the road from your elevated position, looking down on the world The seats are generously proportioned and superbly comfortable. Both front and rear seats have electric heating and the front seats have electric memory adjustment to ensure you have the perfect driving position. Stepping up into the interior of the Range Rover is like stepping into a different world filled with the highest quality leather and wood trim and where tinted glass protects you from the suns glare and any unwanted glances. In keeping with the RangeRovers image as the ultimate luxury SUV there is barely a whisper from the V6 Turbo-diesel engine as the revs rise and virtually no any noise intrusion to the cabin- the car really does seem to isolate you from the outside world in your own leather clad cocoon.

Our cars "HSE" specification is already pretty spectacular before you add any extras, but this car has been fitted with several costly options to further enhance the opulence and luxury. Among the luxury goodies are satellite navigation and bluetooth telephone preparation. The car has a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi which gives among the best quality sounds of any stereo I have ever heard and has been fitted with side steps which look fantastic and aid access to the car. Front and rear distance sensors which give you an acoustic aid during tight maneuvers - A must have on a car with these dimensions. Meanwhile the car sits on purposeful 20" alloy wheels which, despite having some minor kerb marks, still manage to look great.

The Range Rover feels more like a Bentley to drive than it does a typical 4x4. The car glides over road imperfections with ease, and isolates you from the outside world - reminding you that you're piloting something rather special. You sit in generous, yet supportive seats with memory function and electrical adjustment for every bolster, so that they can be tailored to you perfect seating position. For additional comfort this car has a large centre armrest and individual fold down armrests on the front seats. The Dashboard is uncluttered, yet laden with hi-tec luxuries to make life behind the wheel as stress free as possible. This car has a colour satellite navigation system which also houses controls for the cars audio system. Both front and rear seats are heated as is the electrically adjustable steering wheel.

Whilst there is no getting away from the fact this is a big car at over 2 metres in width and the best part of 5 metres in length, it is actually a fairly easy car to drive. When you park, the door mirrors can be retracted electrically to ensure they don't get hit by passing traffic. Our Range Rover has a total of 8 distance sensors on the front and rear bumpers which assist you with an audible beep when you negotiate tight spaces. The car is also fitted with cruise control, automatic headlamps, and rain sensitive wipers. The adjustable air suspension allows you to kneel the car in access mode allowing easy access to its cabin - it can also be raised to allow additional ground clearance when needed.
