A quick look at my new truck. Switched it up from the diesels and picked up a 2022 ram 1500 Laramie. 4x4. Has all the normal items but it was special ordered with the 3.92 rear end which bumps the towing capacity significantly to 11.3k. It also has the larger 33gall fuel tank. I was a very suprised at how well it towed this trailer. Had plenty of power as king as you are ok with slow and steady about 55-60mph on the hwy through the mountains. Areas were a 6-7% grade and it did just fine both up and down hill. Very non drama , felt confident etc. I assume heavy wind might cause the truck to get tossed around a bit but I wouldn’t hesitate to take a long trip towing this setup. I’d estimate the trailer has around 2k worth of an ATV and gear… also I did fill the fuel tank on the trailer most the way so I could fuel up the truck once I got to my destination (40gall fuel tank on trailer) for fuel station and generator.
