Kicking off the New Year in the best way possible — tow foiling in paradise with my two boys..

This trip to Bali was all about escaping winter in Italy ,good energy, warm water, celebrating new year on foil. Unforgettable sessions tow foiling with Lukas Galu Foiling Club at Oka Point, Sanur, Bali. Glassy conditions, tropical vibes, and perfect foil waves.

I’m turning 63 next week, and this session was a reminder that progression doesn’t have an age limit — just keep showing up, stay curious, and have fun. Starting the year on foil, surrounded by great people in an epic place… doesn’t get much better than this.
