✨ Ingredients
For Kofta
• Mutton minced – 200 g
• Onion, finely chopped – 1
• Besan (chana atta) – 1 tbsp
• Chopped coriander – a handful
• Salt – to taste
• Garam masala – ½ tbsp

For Barra Masala
1. Fried onions – half cup
2. Kashmiri chilli powder – 2 tbsp
3. Chilli powder – 1½ tbsp
4. Pepper powder – 1 tsp
5. Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
6. crushed chillies – 2
For Barra Masala
7. Coriander leaves – little
8. Salt – to taste
9. Curd – ½ cup
10. Oil – little
11. Chat masala – 1 tsp
12. Garam masala – ½ tsp

For Sauce
1. Oil / Ghee – as needed
2. Reserved Barra masala
3. Green chillies – 2
4. Fresh cream – 1 tbsp
5. Milk – 100 ml
6. Onion rings – little
7. Coriander – little

✨ Method
Step 1: Prepare the Kofta
1. In a bowl, add the minced meat, chopped onion, besan, chopped coriander, salt and a little garam masala.
2. Mix well.
3. Make round-shaped koftas and keep aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Barra Masala
1. Grind fried onions into a smooth paste. In a bowl, add the ground fried-onion paste, Kashmiri chilli powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, crushed chillies, coriander leaves, salt, curd, oil, chat masala and garam masala.
2. Mix well.

Step 3: Fry the Koftas
1. In a pan, add oil and heat it.
2. Add the koftas and pan-fry them until they turn golden brown on all sides.

Step 4: Make the Sauce
1. In another pan, add a little ghee or oil.
2. Add the reserved Barra masala, green chillies and fresh cream.
3. Pour in the milk and mix well.
4. Add the fried koftas, then add onion rings and chopped coriander.
5. Mix everything well and cook for 1 minute.
6. Finally, add fresh coriander leaves.

✨ Serve
Your Mutton Kofta Barra is ready!
Garnish with more coriander, fried onions and onion rings.
Serve hot with naan, chapati, paratha or jeera rice.
