how to make your own Adventure Time foam sculptures - making tree trunks

After having a viral video on TikTok of me making my foam Finn, I decided to bless the YouTube community with an in-depth tutorial of how I use foam to sculpt Adventure Time characters! In this tutorial, I am making Tree Trunks, but these techniques are what I use for each different character. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments; I am happy to answer you :)
Supplies:
-The foam: FOAMULAR NGX F-150 1 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft. SSE R-5 XPS Rigid Foam Board Insulation (from Home Depot)
-A utility knife and serrated knife (I use a kitchen knife)
-Sandpaper and electric sander
-Hot glue gun (mine is from Lowes: craft hot glue doesn't get hot enough)
-Ruler
-Cutting mat
-Plaster of Paris (from Michaels)
-Acrylic paint and paintbrushes
-Mod Podge Gloss
-Mod Podge Gloss Acrylic Sealer
