SHOCKED at WORLD'S LARGEST GAS STATION (first time at Buc-ee's)

American know how to make shopping special! Where else in the world could you find a gas station with more than 60 gas pumps, a mascot, and RESTAURANT QUALITY brisket! We were intrigued to see what else is for sale in such a place.

Our plan was to spend 60-80 USD; we ended up spending 96 at Buc-ee's Gas Station. Not bad. We intended to buy things we needed, eventually bought things we wanted to try, and finally bought some stuff just for the heck of it. No regrets!

The beaver nuggets seem to be the iconic item at Buc-ees. We are not too much into sweets, but we enjoyed them, although they took some time to grow on us. Our first attempt of beaver buggets was overshadowed by the CHOPPED BRISKET SANDWICH which was incredibly good. Seriously. it's worth a stop at Buc-ees just for the brisket-- and they are smart about how the present it. It's the first thing you see when you walk in the door, and the staff yell "BRAISED BRISKET ON THE BOARD" before the brisket is chopped into small bits, for the seeminly endless sandwiches they create. A crowd gather around, watches the meat get prepared, and then grabs their choice of sandwich, wrapped in tinfoil and looking like a million bucks. It's a gas station experience like we've never had before. Big shoutout to Buc-ee's for creating such a place!

We also tried the pickle chips (which were just pickle slices??) as well as some VERY GOOD pickled quail eggs. And of course, we bought some souvenirs. (even a small dress for our 6 month old daughter.)

The stores selection is pretty incredible. The items don't seem cheap (like made-in-China, dollar store stuff) and the variety is wide. From uniquely crafted spoons and salt shakers, to large cow hides, you can find anything and everything in Buc-ees.
