A common issue with the Nissan QR25 engine is that it is known for blowing head gaskets, especially on engines with 100k or more miles.
There is also an issue that is often overlook when it comes to loosening the head bolts during the disassembly repair process.
The allen-wrench type head bolt socket is prone to stripping something that may not be obvious for first time mechanics doing the head gasket repair.
