Exploring the Gamma Slider in DxO PhotoLab 8

In this video, I take a closer look at the Gamma tool in DxO PhotoLab 8 — tucked away in the Tone Curve panel. It’s a powerful option for shaping contrast, lifting shadows, or darkening tones depending on your creative goals.

I share a few images I’ve been playing with, highlight how different gamma adjustments affect the luminance channel, and mix in some thoughts on smart lighting, FilmPack renderings, and local adjustments along the way.
