Crisis Suit Resurgence and the Dark Horses

We are back with another week of tournament lists and results! This week there was a bit of an upset compared to what the normal meta has been since the balance dataslate. Although Death Guard and both flavors of knights are still the dominant armies, dark horse factions like Imperial Guard and Sisters of Battle are still capable of taking games and winning tournaments. The other mono-god chaos space marines are also doing decently and will most likely take the top spot after Death Guard and Knights receive their nerfs in a few weeks.

On a different note, Tau are sitting at around a 43% win rate from a previous weekly average of 40% and I think its completely safe to say that's were they are going to sit there until more changes come for the top tier armies. Even with the best lists in Kroot Hunting Pack and Krootox Rampager abuse, the faction overall still struggles into both kinds of the top armies. With players teching into more horde infantry clear and melee rush armies due to the appearance of more horde lists, mainly Guard infantry spam, KHP kroot heavy armies struggle. KHP still sits at a 60% win rate but that is most likely to change when more Tau players try the lists out. Surprisingly, Crisis Suits have made a small resurgence with some players doing alright with them while keeping their lists fun. Overall, Tau are most likely to stay in the lower-middle section of the game until the next round of balance. I will keep looking at their lists though and see if there is any shake up to the faction.
