Why medical professionals deserve better EMR systems

Have you ever stopped to think about how important it is for healthcare companies to make life easier for clinicians? In my opinion, it's absolutely crucial. Unfortunately, doctors and other medical professionals often don't have much of a say in the systems and technologies that are implemented in their workplaces. I even heard from someone at one of the biggest EMR companies that they don't really care about physician input. Can you believe it?! It's time for us to take a stand and demand better. We deserve tools that make our jobs easier, not harder. It's up to our organizations to find ways to supplement any EMR systems that aren't meeting our needs.
