The P-225 replaces the phenomenally successful Yamaha P125 with a shorter, thinner body design giving a compact style suitable for modern living. The updated Graded Hammer Compact (GHC) action developed using all of Yamaha's expertise and experience gained from their Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) action and this model feature's Yamaha's flagship grand piano sample, the CFX as well as Virtual Resonance Modelling (VRM) Lite technology to replicate the expressive moment-by-moment tonal changes that occur in a real grand piano.
