Jet2 Air Tanker | LS807 | Manchester - Arrecife Lanzarote | Airbus A330-243 | 13th February 2025

My very first flight onboard an Airbus A330-200 aircraft flying for Jet2 operated by Air Tanker from Manchester to Arrecife Lanzarote!

Air Tanker own these A330's and are based at RAF Brize Norton, they are currently leased to Jet2 to carry more passengers to and from Manchester Airport Terminal 2.

We take an Uber from Heald Green to Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Departures, pass security we only do a bit of plane spotting on the apron as there was not much to see in the dark early in the morning.

We then board the aircraft on the airbridge and as always I have the window seat, it is a cloudy departure from runway 05L at Manchester before cruising into the bright blue sky, then after a few hours of flying we descend over the North Atlantic Ocean before landing onto runway 03 at Arrecife Lanzarote.

I then get a special visit to the flight deck of the Airbus A330-200 with my picture taken in the captain's seat, we then disembark the aircraft my favourite way, by using the steps and onto the shuttle bus to arrivals, we then end our journey at the Beatriz Playa & Spa Hotel near Playa Lima Beach.
