317 Kool Herc and The New Herculords 1981 at the Audubon. (Note: This is a Herc Party but he never gets on the turntables and you never hear his voice. But what you do hear is Herc’s new emcee’s Mike Gee and Cisco Kid and the Legendary Whiz Kid and he is in tip top shape as he goes to work on those turntables. He was like a surgeon at work resurrecting the dead; this is no joke he had to be one of the best D.J.’s in the five boroughs on this night! They called him Harold once but they never strayed from the name Whiz Kid again as he tore it, Listen to the Bass man was listen, listen, listen! It was like the two records were dancing with each other. It was like he was cutting air when he cut Catch a Groove. Highly outstanding work by Whiz Kid! Sisco Kid is rocking with the Commodores Hut saying Herc instead of Hut.)
