In this month 8 Ramsey Hunt Syndrome update, I share insights from the past few weeks.
👨‍⚕️ Doctor's visit update: MRI results showed more nerve inflammation than expected, so we're in a waiting game game.
👁️ Eye improvement: I can go without a moisture chamber and eye taping at night.
😯 Synkinesis: Unwanted muscle movements and watery eye during meals.
😊 Facial movement: Subtle smiles look normal, big smiles are hard; overall, I see slow, steady improvement.
🎲 Conference experience: The challenges of being half deaf.
🧠 Mental health reflections: It’s tough, but my spirituality and faith have helped me find peace with this challenge.
