Monkseaton Metro Station is located on the Whitley Bay loop of the Tyne and Wear Metro network, serving the local community with frequent services towards Newcastle, South Hylton, and the North Tyneside coast. The station is a busy stop for commuters and leisure passengers, with trains operating in both directions around the coastal loop.
