Should OVER 40 wear BROWN or BLACK EYELINER ?!!

My entire life, I thought that blue eyes were supposed to wear brown shades. After attempting this comparison of brown eyeliner vs black eyeliner, I can honestly say - I am shook! I never thought I could pull off black eyeliner, and certainly not all around my eyes. I would love to hear from you, if you have always thought that blue eyes look best with brown eyeliner.
