This video is a quick POV walk-through of Richmond's Joseph Bryan Park. The main entrance is at 4308 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA 23227. This park has miles of walking and bike paths.
Bryan Park is another of Richmond's historic parks. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the park was the site of a planned slavery insurrection known as Gabriel's Rebellion. This park is 262-acres, with
two large ponds (one with a waterfall); three streams, rolling hills, grassy open spaces and large trees. The southeastern part of Bryan Park contains its famous 17-acre Azalea Gardens and an attractive fountain pond. The western portion of the park is wooded, with a Nature Center. It has a great disc golf course, many soccer fields, tennis courts, kiddie playground, and a 5K running course.
