Mission Objective

Destroy the hostile SA-6 (Gainful) mobile SAM site that has been denying airspace and threatening allied sorties in the sector.

Friendly Forces

Springfield 1 (Flight Lead) — F-16C, 2-ship hunter element.
Dodge 2 — F-16C, wingman / target-marking & support.
Wild Weasel (if available) — SEAD escort for HARM suppression.
Quick reaction F-16 CAP airborne for rescue and overwatch.

Threat Picture
-------------------------
Active SA-6 TELs (mobile, dispersed).
Mixed AAA belts and suspected MANPADS around likely firing positions.
Enemy recon vehicles and rapid displacement tactics — expect shoot-and-scoot.

Loadout & Equipment

4× 500 lb JDAMs or equivalent strike ordnance (if fixed positions confirmed).
2× AIM-120 AMRAAM, 2× AIM-9 Sidewinder for self-defense.
Targeting pod / LITENING or FLIR for acquisition and battle damage assessment.

Rules of Engagement / Contingencies

If SA-6 is moving, call for SEAD priority and coordinate HARMs — do not press into dense AAA without Wild Weasel support.
Abort if wingman lost or critical battle damage occurs.
If unable to positively ID, delay strike — collateral risk unacceptable.
