Abhishek Banerjee Addresses Public Meeting in Midnapore, Targets BJP and CPI(M)

Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Tuesday addressed a massive public gathering at Midnapore College Ground, where he strongly criticized the BJP and CPI(M), accusing them of perpetuating violence and political opportunism in West Bengal.

Recalling the pre-2011 era, Banerjee alleged that CPI(M) cadres had unleashed widespread violence across West Midnapur and claimed that the BJP is now providing political shelter to the same elements. He credited the people of Medinipur for playing a decisive role in bringing the Trinamool Congress to power in the 2011, 2016, and 2021 Assembly elections.
