We did 'The Ultimate Tour' - a 3 hour tour that includes Prince's video editing room, lounge area, public kitchen, some of his office rental areas, all three of his music studios, soundstage, and a lot more. Including stories of how he created his music and insight into the workings of Paisley Park and Prince. An amazing tour for any serious Prince fan. They have shorter tours for the more casual, budgeted, or time-crunched fan.

Since Prince was extremely private, they do not allow cell phones or any electronics inside Paisley Park. They actually make everyone put their phones into locked pouches and shut down their smart watches (my wife had to completely turn off her Apple Watch). The tour guide was incredible knowledgable and friendly, but I also imagine they are told/trained to keep an eye on everyone to make sure no one is trying to sneak any recording on hidden devices.

It was an incredible experience to actually be in Prince's home, where we walked and talked, ate, and hung with friends and conducting business...and more. To view some of his personal possessions and see his hand-written notes and lyrics - wonderful! To stand in the same studios he recorded Sign 'O The Times, Batman, Diamonds and Pearls and all of his post-1987 studio albums -- just a thoroughly satisfying and awestruck experience. I am thankful to experience my fandom in such intimate detail.
