A general vent about my struggle with chronic illness, frustration with it, and how it can feel very isolating at times, like no one truly understands me. Sometimes I just wish things were easier cause it makes everything so goddamn difficult. Usually my vents about this are more angry than sad but this was still fitting for how I feel sometimes. It's like giving up, then trying again, then struggling immensely, then giving up, and the cycle continues. At least I try right? Ngl a part of me is cringing at this just because I don't usually like to express the sadder side of this cause it feels more vulnerable, but I figured other people might relate to this as well and I'm also really proud of how the animatic turned out ngl.

Thank you so much to everything that supported me while making my webcomic and just me as an artist in general, it's been super hard to get here and I'm really glad that people enjoy my content.

always felt like this song really fit for people with disabilities, so i had the idea in my head for a while

Animatic Explained:

The gold wolves/canines with wings represent the able bodied assumption in society, doctors that didn't listen to me, people that didn't listen to me in general or didn't take me seriously/failed to accomodate my disability.

The big cliff that my character is looking up at is basically my idea of "success" or fitting into society better, reaching independence from others.

The other characters can make it to the top because they have wings, but my characters' wings have been torn off, so they have to find another way up.

The big blue wolf/canine at the top of the cliff that my character confronts represents my negative thoughts/mental health issues/anxiety, something i sometimes blame for my physical health issues, and that's why my character is hostile towards them.

The red prickly vines on my character's legs represent my chronic pain, and the blindfold over their eyes briefly shown at 2:29 represents my impaired vision problems.
