Cycling from Mirpur to Rawalakot [ Part 1 ]

The adventure has officially begun — Day 1 of the tour is here!

Welcome back to the journey — it’s The Muslim Cyclist!

We kicked things off from Chitterpari, Mirpur (Azad Jammu & Kashmir), riding through the lively streets of Mirpur city. Before long, we got caught in a massive downpour — honestly, I’ve never ridden through this much rain in my life!

From there, I made my way to Chakswari, my home city — the birthplace of my father and grandfather. Riding through those familiar roads was a truly special and emotional experience.

We stopped for a delicious breakfast at a beautiful restaurant in Chakswari before heading toward Kotli. Along the way, I met the amazing team from Green Destination, who kindly sponsored today’s ride — a huge thank you to them for their support

Along the way, we stopped and met some players of the Kashmir Kings Cricket Club in Nar, Azad Jammu & Kashmir — what an awesome group of guys!

In the next vlog, we’ll continue the ride toward Kotli, Tatta Pani and then all the way to Rawalakot. So stay tuned, because this journey is just getting started!
