Hundreds, perhaps thousands of people had to be rescued by boat as Spring Creek rose to record levels flooding neighborhoods and the Waterford Springs Apartment complex. About 30 boats made constant runs to pick up people starting this morning and it is still ongoing at 5:30 PM central. Shots of boats, deep water, people getting on and off of boats, pets, lots of dog shots, all the amazing volunteers. People were handing out towels to the people coming off the boat as well as drinks and snacks. Volunteers carrying people to dry land. Incredible group uniting in a disater.
