LECCE: PERCEFT PUGLIA BASE

Puglia has so many beautiful regions and cities and it was hard to decide where to stay during our trip. We finally chose Lecce and it was the best decision! It was so easy to explore Puglia, especially Salento, from Lecce.

More importantly: Lecce is beautiful! We loved just strolling through the alleys and exploring the piazzas. They have an ancient Roman amphitheater (although it’s being restored at the moment). The churches were gorgeous. And the (street) food was probably the best and most varied we’ve had in a long time. And with countless vegan options!

Lecce, we’ll be back!
