Vaultwarden is an open-source, self-hosted password manager that offers functionality similar to the official Bitwarden service but runs on your own infrastructure. It's written in Rust and acts as an alternative server implementation of the Bitwarden API, compatible with Bitwarden's official clients. This means you can use your existing Bitwarden apps (desktop, browser extensions, etc.) to connect to a self-hosted Vaultwarden instance.
