We are passionate about cruises and looking for a ship with great entertainment options on board and a good itinerary, we opted for Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas.
Sailing aboard the Adventure of the Seas ship is a good option to enjoy your vacation with family, friends or even alone.
Adventure of the Seas has great facilities. The boardwalk has cafes, bars, and shops with a variety of clothing, jewelry, gifts and other options and is very well decorated. In the upper area, open to the sky, Adventure of the Seas has 3 swimming pools, one of which is for adults only (+16 years old), 6 whirlpools, 3 bars next to the pools, a cinema screen with daily film and video presentations, a walking track and a huge sunbathing area.
The ship has 9 restaurants and one of the main ones is the Windjammer which offers a huge variety of salads, starters, main courses and desserts. Every bite at Windjammer is complimentary for cruise guests. This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Another dining option on Adventure of the Seas is the Sapphire restaurant, main dining room. It works with a menu. Every day they have a different menu with 6 starter options, 7 main course options, and 6 dessert options. You can order as many options as you like. Other dining options are Japanese cuisine (Izumi Sushi), Italian cuisine (Giovanni’s Table), grills (chops Grille), and hamburgers (Johnny Rockets), these with an additional cost. Adventure of the Seas also has room service.
Adventure of the Seas has multiple bars and lounges: Schooner (Piano Bar), Café Promenade, Champagne Bar, Boleros, Duck & Dog Bar, Gravity, Pool Bar, Sky Bar (pool bar), Imperial Lounge, Blue Moon, and others. For those who don't want to buy the drinks package, you can buy your drinks, wine, beer, etc. in these bars and restaurants.
The Lyric Theatre has a capacity of 1300 guests and has different shows every night. There are 2 presentations per day, at 7 pm and 9 pm.
Casino Royale on Adventure of the Seas has many games and slot machines to choose from.
Adventure of the Seas has a wide variety of leisure options: fitness center, spa, sport court, ice-skating, typhoon & cyclone water slide, mini golf and flowrider, in addition to these activities, there are also auctions, courses, children's area and space for teenagers with guaranteed fun.
Our cruise on Adventure of the Seas was the 7 Night Western Caribbean & Perfect Day at Cococay. We left the Royal Caribbean terminal at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale (1850 Eller Drive) in Florida on Saturday at 4 pm and returned the following Saturday at 7 am. Ports of call: Fort Lauderdale Port Everglades) Florida, Roatan Honduras, Belize City Belize, Cozumel Mexico, Cococay Bahamas. For each of these stops, there is a wide range of excursions, at an additional cost.
We had so much fun aboard Adventure of the Seas that we are already planning our next cruise!
