In this project, we start building an electric supercharger for a smaller (1.4L) naturally aspirated car engine. The main components used are a centrifugal supercharger from a Sea-Doo jet ski and a 48V 2000W Vevor e-bike electric motor. We use a DC DC converter to get 48V (at least initially). The goal is a fully programmable boost curve that increases engine power/torque without exceeding transmission limits and interfaces with the vehicle CANbus network. This is the first of a series of videos of this project. Please check back later for additional videos.
