Today was one of those days where I went out to find whatever I could in the Pompano Beach area, and I ended up getting all five railroads. Track work has been going on here for the past week which required single tracking. Tri-Rail P620 had cabcar 502 leading which was only just wrapped and entered service back on the 15th. I came across CSX L787's consist sitting on main 2 and its engine sitting on the AmeriGas lead preparing to pull some empty tank cars out of the industry once all the cars got lined up. I got to the Race Track Road crossing where L787 would unfortunately be blocking traffic for fifteen minutes, and I only caught Amtrak 40 through an opening between two cars. L787 shoved some loaded cars back to AmeriGas just as I left for lunch. I got a northbound 9-car Brightline on my way east. FEC train 206 was leaving Hialeah around this time with a Champion leader, so I waited for it at Pompano after I had some food (while also missing a Tri-Rail test train just before it passed). 206 was rock and autoracks today and it blocked a southbound Brightline. Heavy wind and undesirable lighting this time of day made some shots less than perfect.
Trains:
0:00 - Tri-Rail P620
0:24 - CSX L787 working AmeriGas
7:02 - Amtrak 40
7:43 - CSX L787 back into AmeriGas
9:12 - BLF 721 northbound
9:31 - FEC 206 and blocked BLF 701 southbound
11:11 - Tri-Rail P625
