Other notes:
Once Bruin and I were done in Trumbull County, we made the hour drive east to Lick Hill VFD just north of downtown Butler, PA for this rather comical looking Sterling. A few messages with the FD, and we arranged a request set off, so huge thanks to them for letting us hear it! The dispatch center had to tone out to the station to sound the siren, however the siren wasn't programmed to sound with the pager if I have that right. Anyways, the contactor also got stuck, so the chief had to run inside to trigger it. It slowly spun its way to life. For how low mounted it is, I was expecting it to be pretty loud, but in fact it was quite the opposite. It's running off 120v (not sure if that's good for the siren) but that probably explains the sluggish start up and the quietness. Overall cool to film such a weird looking siren, and thanks again to Lick Hill VFD for making it all happen! Lighting wasn't in our favor, but the video turned out alright. Enjoy!
