All you have to do is be behind one of vault doors, which can spawn in the foyer of the level. close the door and stay inside of the corridor on other side from the elevator(kletka). after timer counts to zero, wait few seconds more, wait out any explosions or other scary sounds and once you see lights come back again and you hear sounds of slime behind the door, it's safe to open the door again.
