MG ZETA GUNDAM Ver. Ka - STOP MOTION ANIMATION BUILD - 1000 Subscriber Special!

I started this on July 11th - There was a poll and y'all chose Zeta Ver. Ka over other suggestions. And it has some of the hardest sequences I have animated to date. 5 full minutes of animation multiplies how long things take exponentially for every extra minute. Which I'm sure that's not the right math but my god a 5 minute video is a different beast to a 3 minute video....

ZETA - Visually my favorite Master Grade gunpla built to date. The transformation feels like I am missing something, but when zeta is standing in Gundam mode it's got some amazing lines and shapes and it feels so steady.

Fun facts at the end. I'll find out if those are liked or not real quick.

I'm still thinking of things to do, I have a laundry list of HG that I want to build. One of which is for my local hobby shop! I also want to make more from the suggested list. But I need to make something to unwind from Zeta.



HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE:
Animating: 75 - 100 (Average hours 87.5)
Rig removal: 16 hours
Cutting / Retiming: 2 hours
Hand Drawn effects: 8 hours
Sound: 10 hours
Music: 16
Total: 139.5

Uraven Core Gundam is getting retired. Completely unable to hold poses reliably. But Uraven is getting a place of honor. And the Core Army is ready and willing to build as well as who knows what we'll find in the near future to build from.
