Artist's Note: Happy New Year everyone! Depending on well this song does and how much y'all like it, I want this to be the start of a few more original songs I do based on Anipoke, and specifically, Ash's ace Pokemon. I REALLY enjoyed writing this and it's probably my favorite original song I've done so far, so I really hope I can eventually do some more like it.
Ash and Pikachu have such an awesome bond in anipoke, and while battling is important to them, more than anything it's about their dream, and how much they love and trust each other. So my goal while writing this was to prioritize the feeling of trust and friendship while implementing feisty battle-esque phrases and terms where I could. I really love how this turned out.
