For those that could not attend the newest roadway ribbon cutting in Gainesville, Florida. The ribbon cutting was on July 18, 2025. The roadway opens up additional commercial pads and connects Hawthorne Road to SE 8th Avenue and GTEC. Currently planned for a ground breaking is a new RTS transfer station on-site in 2026. Come join City and County Commissioners and leadership, Alachua County School Board member, US House of Representatives Kat Cammack's office, and other dignitaries at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
