Twin to single seat conversion - Peugeot Boxer

This is how we converted the standard twin front passenger seat in our 2020 Peugeot Boxer into a single seat that worked better with our campervan conversion design.

Purchasing a new single passenger seat can be very expensive, often around €800/£800, so we decided to simply adapt the original twin seat by removing the slim middle seat attachment.

You'll need a socket wrench, an angle grinder, an upholstery needle and some strong black thread.

We've now completed thousands of miles of road trips and the seat has been great and we've put the money we've saved to much better use.

If you're looking to create a swivel seat for your campervan, this of course isn't a solution for you.
