Cloudhunters first cross-country workshop kicked off brilliantly, even despite the not so generous weather conditions. Our original plan was to spend the whole week between the take off on Monte Cucco and Gualdo Tadino, yet because of constant moderate NE winds, we were forced to adapt to the conditions and change course. Although as a wise man once said, “Every cloud has a silver lining;” in fact the weather conditions caused us to vagabond around various take offs between Umbira and the Marche. We discovered many beautiful locations with fantastic potential. The days were full of challenging conditions, which were very instructive and useful for the whole group.
