Leeds West Indian Chapeltown Carnival Parade 2014

The 47th Leeds West Indian Chapeltown carnival parade 2014 was awash with colourful costumes despite the rain.
Several hundred people of all ages got dressed up and took part in the carnival parade through the streets of Chapeltown and Harehills in Leeds. Thousands of people lined the streets and enjoyed the carnival atmosphere of what is Europes longest running carnival event.
The floats carried the sound systems and pumped out the soca, calypso and carnival music to the huge audience.
